Steve Irwin Father Resigns

Steve Irwin’s Father, Bob Irwin, and Steve Irwin’s widow Terri, had an argument that has prompted Bob to resign from the conservation operation he help build over 36 years. The argument was part of an ongoing feud over the treatment of staff, and the commercial direction of the zoo. Rumors of a feud between Bob and Terri first surfaced in January, and are now confirmed. Bob plans to open another zoo elsewhere to keep his son’s dream alive.

In a possibly related matter, Terri Irwin and the Australia Zoo could face a tax investigation in the wake of multi-million dollar civil lawsuits against them.

Australian Taxation Office officials were seen attending preliminary hearings at the Victorian County Court last week.

Hugh Hefner Wants Olsen Twins for Playboy

Hugh Hefner has tried to get Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to take their clothes off for Playboy before, but they rejected his offer. Now he’s trying again. The Olsen girls are worth $1 billion dollars these days due to their success in the fashion industry, so it’s hard to imagine they’d pose for Playboy unless they really crazed attention. The girls have said no again to Hefner’s offer. It’s not really bad news though. I for one am not sure if I’m ready to see the skeletons underneath those bizarre, but expensive, clothes

Prince Harry is Back Home

Prince Harry returned home from Afghanistan looking sun burned, and disappointed. Prince Charles said:

"As you can imagine it’s obviously a great relief as far as I’m concerned to see him home in one piece. I’ve been incredibly proud of Harry and I promise you … equally proud of all the dedicated service given by all our armed forces."

Before leaving Afghanistan, Prince Harry made an emotional call to girlfriend Chelsy Davy. "It was one of the happiest and emotional moments of her life," a source said. "She was in a state of ecstasy and tears."

Harry was in Afghanistan for 10 weeks, but his trip was cut short after media around the world reported his location. The troops with Harry were in greater jeopardy than Harry, since they were responsible for his safety while he was in Afghanistan.

Juvenile’s Daughter Murdered

Cops in Georgia arrested a 17-year-old boy on Friday and charged him with killing his mother, who was a local sheriff’s deputy, and his two small sisters. One of those little girls was the daughter of rapper Juvenile.

Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. allegedly gunned down his mother, Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4.

Jelani was Juvenile’s daughter. In 2003, the rapper, whose real name is Terius Gray, was arrested for abandonment of a dependent child after a DNA test determined he was the father.

Terrell, a sophomore at Central Gwinnett High School, has been charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. He is currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

A statement was released to TMZ saying, "Juvenile was extremely saddened to hear the reports. As a private matter he has no further comment."

Barack Obama Could Play in the NBA

Barack, and his family, are so into basketball, he believes if he doesn’t play basketball on election day he’ll lose. His brother-in-law, Craig Robinson, is the head coach for the men’s team at Brown University. Wouldn’t it be amazing to see Barack and Hillary Clinton play a game of one-on-one? Hillary probably wouldn’t make it past the toss up.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Name Their Twins

Jennifer Lopez(38) and Marc Anthony’s (39) newborn twins are named Max and Emme, Lopez’s manager Simon Fields officially confirmed. Their son and daughter were born on February 22. Emme was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and Max followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.
